Property Investments and Other Streams of Income By Hannes Dreyer
WebMaster, Saturday 27 March 2010 - 10:18:58 // comment: 0

Although I have made a lot of money through doing well planned and lucrative property investments, as a Wealth Creator, I have also learned that one needs to be sure to have a variety of different streams of income. This will help you to stay ahead of the game when the property market might become troubled and you have not taken the time to structure your property investment decisions according to proven systems which guarantee that you will not loose your investments no matter what the market does.

There are so many ways to diversify your property investment portfolio such as buy to let, flipping properties, commercial property development, vacation property investments and the list goes on. The truth of the matter is that no matter how you choose to structure these different streams of income, you should be sure to base your investments on proven and reliable systems which help you to make the best choices for you.

Remember that your investment decisions which you make are effectively the vehicle which you are driving towards your financial freedom and if you take the time to invest in yourself first before making these decisions, chances are that you will reach your destination far quicker.

What with the communication world changing so rapidly around us it might also be a good idea to find ways and methods to get noticed on the internet and thus diversify your income streams even further. There are systems and solutions out there which make it possible for even the most inexperienced newbie to get themselves noticed on the internet and be able to do all their own web design and control their own internet business without having to become an expert.

Always try to remember to invest in yourself first and soon you will be able to understand how it is possible for you to diversify your streams of income without having to pay the "experts" exorbitant fees to do everything for you.

Should you take the time and put in the effort so as to get the correct systems in place and to be able to back them up with understanding, you will soon find that your possibilities are endless, but first you need to invest in yourself.

WebMaster, Saturday 14 February 2009 - 18:57:52 // comment: 0

February 14, 2009 (3:12 pm) Brandon Matthews
In a turn of events worthy of a Hollywood movie script, the New York Post is reporting that “John Malone’s Liberty Media is offering Sirius XM a bridge loan of several hundred million dollars to help pay off debt that matures Tuesday.” The article also mentions that Liberty and Sirius XM are working together on a plan to deal with Sirius XM’s other debt obligations due in May and December.

How to Get High Returns on Your Investment
WebMaster, Thursday 29 January 2009 - 15:56:43 // comment: 0

Making real money from your investment is often a hard task, because usually the investment options that involve third party management are either low yield or too risky (like some of the so called HYIPs).

Indeed, if you want safety you would normally turn to a bank, but then you would receive a 3% yield for your money.

On the other hand, if you want a very high yield, you could turn to a HYIP and get returns as high as 120% per month, but then again, this is a very risky proposition because you could well lose all your money for good.

I have found that among all the investment options the only way to realistically make money good from your money is putting it to work by yourself, that is, becoming an investor and managing it yourself.

Of course this is no easy task unless you are already an expert or you have a set of reliable investing tools and resources to help you manage your investment accurately and effectively thus reducing the risk of loss.

However, the fact that it is not easy does not mean that it is impossible, it only means that you have to be well prepared to perform consistently, and believe me, once you realize that you can pull a monthly return of 10%, 30% or 60%, you will wonder what where you doing that you did not start doing this sooner.

There are many reliable tools and resources that will allow you to manage your investment safely and very profitably, particularly within the forex market which is probably one of the best ways I have found to make money out of my investment.

So if you have been thinking about getting higher returns for you money, you should definitely consider managing your investment yourself as the best option to make money with your money.

The Investment Philosophy of Warren Buffett - In 23 Quotes
WebMaster, Wednesday 13 August 2008 - 19:10:46 // comment: 0

Warren Buffett is the most successful investor of our time, perhaps of any time. He is famous for his pithy quotes, which often appear in his annual letter to shareholders.

Taken together, his quotes pretty well sum up his investment philosophy and approach. Here are his best sound bites of all time on being a sensible investor.

1. Rule No.1: Never lose money. Rule No.2: Never forget rule No.1.

2. Investing is laying out money now to get more money back in the future.

3. Never invest in a business you cannot understand.

4. I don't look to jump over 7-foot bars: I look around for 1-foot bars that I can step over.

5. I put heavy weight on certainty. It's not risky to buy securities at a fraction of what they're worth.

6. If a business does well, the stock eventually follows.

7. It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price.

8. Time is the friend of the wonderful company, the enemy of the mediocre.

9. For some reason people take their cues from price action rather than from values. Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.

10. In the short run, the market is a voting machine. In the long run, it's a weighing machine.

11. The most common cause of low prices is pessimism. We want to do business in such an environment, not because we like pessimism, but because we like the prices it produces. It's optimism that is the enemy of the rational buyer. None of this means, however, that a business or stock is an intelligent purchase simply because it is unpopular; a contrarian approach is just as foolish as a follow-the-crowd strategy. What's required is thinking rather than polling.

Can Rental Property Investment Be a Reliable Retirement Investment Vehicle?
WebMaster, Friday 12 February 2010 - 19:54:28 // comment: 0

When one is choosing vehicles to drive your retirement investments it is essential to be sure that the one which you choose is reliable. Now many people are of the opinion that using rental property investment might not be a safe route to follow but this is not necessarily so.

I personally am not of this opinion as over the years I have been able to make these types of investments work for me as I have the correct formulas and systems in place and as with any other type of investment, if you are able to assess your investment both analytically and fundamentally accurately, then there is no reason why the investment which you make should be unsuccessful.

The reason why I say that rental property investment can be so beneficial to you as a retirement investment vehicle is because not only will you be creating a passive income stream but at the same time you will be growing your asset portfolio and securing a very promising future, this is so long as you are making the correct investment decisions.

To be sure that you are following the correct methods of making rental property investment a viable retirement investment vehicle, be sure to watch what advice you are taking and using. Should the person who you are receiving advice from be constantly changing their strategy so as to accommodate the ever changing markets, chances are that you are following the wrong investment advice.

To truly be able to know that you are making the correct decisions, you should be able to see that the advice which you are following remains constant regardless of what the markets are doing as this type of advice has been structured around solid and proven principles which will not deviate in accordance with the market.

Now if you ask me, this is a far better option when investing in your retirement than one that is constantly changing. It has been proven that if you align yourself to winning and profitable principles when choosing rental property investments for your retirement, which remain constant, and then there is absolutely no reason why these types of investment should not be the perfect retirement investment vehicle.

I guess what I am trying to say is that when planning to invest in your retirement, be sure to invest in yourself first so that you are able to take responsibility for your own decisions. Once you are able to do this and are able to make well calculated decisions, then there is no reason why rental property investment should not be able to offer you some of the most profitable returns to secure your future and your retirement regardless of what the property market is doing.

Fibonacci Stock Trading - Using Indicators to Stay Ahead of the Market
WebMaster, Thursday 29 January 2009 - 16:08:07 // comment: 0

In today's volatile market, I've found the easiest way to invest is with currency trading. I've always done okay, but it wasn't until I learned about Fibonacci numbers that I started seeing steady gains.

Developed in the 13th century by Leonardo Fibonacci, the Fibonacci sequence is a way of expressing certain relationships that are constant throughout the universe. These relationships can be seen in both natural phenomena and in human behavior. But what a lot of people don't know is that the stock market shows these same relationships between its trends and counter trends.

I've used this system with great success in the past six months. I invest pretty conservatively, but my biggest gain so far (on one currency cross) was over $5000. By using leverage, just a few pips change in price levels allowed me to get in and get out without putting a whole lot at risk. And I used Fibonacci's "golden ratio" to find the proper price levels at which to trade off.

There are a lot of programs available to help you map out Fibonacci waves. You can download SpiralTrader for free; there's also VTTrader, which my neighbor uses and recommends. Both of them work wonders; all you have to do is input a few numbers and drag your waves over market graphs, and it shows you the key percentage levels at which to trade successfully with that fund.

It's not rocket science, and it's not magic - it's just a way to see patterns and determine when they will repeat. I've made over $20,000 now, and most of it came from using this system to trade on the Forex. Make sure to find out all you can about this little-known way to predict the future of the market!

If you need money now, like I mean in the next hour, try what I did. I am making more money now than in my old business and you can too, read the amazing, true story, in the link below. Income Investing
WebMaster, Monday 01 September 2008 - 17:08:47 // comment: 0

The ultimate goal of income investing is to generate passive monthly income while keeping the majority of your time available to enjoy the wealth you create. In other words generating monthly cash flow that does not demand all of your time. For example you could buy real estate and contract the management out to a Property Management Company to handle finding tenants, collecting the rent, perform minor maintenance, and depositing rents directly into your bank account. This will allow you to keep the majority of your time free while generating a monthly income.

Another, method of generating monthly cash flow is to buy stocks that pay monthly dividends. The monthly dividends would be deposited each month into your bank account. By combining these and many other monthly income generating techniques which require minimal or none of your own time will allow you the freedom to do what you really want.

Why Dividend Stocks Make Great Investments
WebMaster, Wednesday 13 August 2008 - 19:07:09 // comment: 0

In 1934, Benjamin Graham and David Dodd wrote in their classic "Security Analysis," "The prime purpose of a business corporation is to pay dividends to its owners." It was common thinking that the possibility of stock price increases was speculative, so the main reason to own stocks was to partake in a steady flow of dividends.

But 66 years later, at the end of the 18-year bull market of 1982 to 2000, many investors had almost no interest in dividends. The incredible rise in share prices during that long bull run dwarfed dividends' contribution to total returns. Nobody would seriously say that the prime purpose of owning shares was to get dividends.

As we all know, that bull turned into a bubble, and the bubble burst over the three years from 2000 to 2002. When the dam gave way, it ruined the retirement plans of thousands of people, and it sobered up many investors.

Since 2002, there has been a rekindling in appreciation for dividends and dividend-paying stocks. Investors realize that a dividend stock portfolio can lower risk, grow principal, and steadily increase income over time.

With good dividend-paying stocks, you can actually have both growth and income. Dividends are stocks' secret weapon. Studies show that dividends have accounted for nearly half--or more--of the total return of the stock market over very long terms.

That may surprise you, considering how little publicity dividends get. There is no widely reported dividend index that receives the attention bestowed every day on the Dow, the S&P 500, and the NASDAQ indexes.
